The Central Oklahoma Manufacturers Association is pleased to offer legal compliance and litigation assistance for member companies. The Wells Law Firm has agreed to provide legal services dealing with employment law as follows:

The Firm will provide legal representation for any "non-litigation" or "litigation" matter" for a discounted rate of $200/hr. By way of example, "non-litigation matters" include:

  • Performing employment practice audits
  • Preparing employment manuals
  • Providing advice and guidance to members as employment issues arise.

By way of example, "litigation matters" include:

  • Lawsuit defense
  • Discrimination claim defense, such as defending claims before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Oklahoma Human Rights Commission
  • Wage/overtime claim defense, such as defending claims before the U.S. and Oklahoma Departments of Labor, "Litigation matters" may also include the prosecution of claims, such as the filing of a lawsuit to: Enforce a non-compete agreement, and Remedy a breach of conduct.

To participate, the manufacturing facility must be located in Oklahoma, have a Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code between 2000 and 3999 and/or a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code between 311111 and 339999, and be a member of the Central Oklahoma Manufacturers Association.  Association dues are $100 per company per fiscal year (Jul-Jun).
