"From the Boardroom to the Courtroom - Labor Law Update 2017"

COMA's General Counsel will be the featured speaker at the September 19 meeting.  Mr. Wells will be providing a sneak preview of the federal and Oklahoma labor law developments that will be covered in more depth at COMA's Labor Law 2017 Seminar on September 21, including the latest developments in the areas of Workers' Compensation, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act .  In addition, he will cover issues that may come before the U.S. Supreme Court on Sexual Orientation Discrimination, Whistleblower Claims, Workplace Drug Testing and the Travel Ban.  Mr. Jason Reese, with Edinger, Leonard & Blakley, will join Mr. Wells for the Seminar.  Both meetings will be held in Conference Rooms 407 A&B on the campus of Oklahoma City Community College.  Kimray will present the "Spotlight on Manufacturing" segment of the September 19 meeting.  A continental breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. at the regular COMA meeting and at 8 a.m. at the Seminar.  The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude by 9 a.m.  The Seminar will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 12:00 p.m.  Member cost for the Seminar is $25 per person.  Non-member cost for the Seminar is $50 per person.  Please RSVP to Bob Carter at 405-682-7543 or bcarter@oklahomamanufacturers.org.
